i've always liked emily. i thought she seemed very genuine and sweet. my heart broke the first time i heard her story. i'll admit, i have a girl-crush on emily. she seems so classy and ladylike, not like the way many are (edited to be) drunk whores. i am currently watching the "after the final rose" special. when emily said that she would not move to austin today and the audience more or less booed her...how can she just pick up and move? she has a daughter who should be getting ready to start the first grade! besides that, they need time to get to know each other. and yes, they can do that in austin too, but i wouldn't just pick up and move unless i was sure. i think she just wants to be sure. i find no fault in that at all.
thoughts on the final episode...
i had heard rumors brad was going to choose chantal. first of all, you weren't swimming with sharks. you were in a cage, up against a boat, watching sharks swim around you. also, how is being in a cage with sharks going to define your relationship? lame.
i think if this show occurred when brad was in his early 30's (you know, the 1st time), he would've chosen chantal. she showed him everything for free (hello, white shirt?!). emily is a lady, with a child. i think he's pushing 40 and is ready to settle down and start a family..not have fun & travel the world.
i am excited he chose emily..but sad because i still say she's too good for him. but, if they really do love each other, i hope it works out for them.
also, i do not want to date the next bachelor or bachelorette. i just want to watch the people who do make fools of themselves on television.
p.s. how are roberto and ali a success? they haven't gotten married yet!
p.p.s. who is going to be the next bachelorette if chantal is in a relationship?!
p.p.p.s. (or however it goes) should i mention how much i have teared up in the past two hours? i hope i meet THAT man one day..only God knows.
i love "reality" television because it almost always makes me feel better about me and my life. :)
