i got the call this morning...i didn't get to round 2 for the augusta job. but, it wasn't all bad. the senior planner did say he was impressed with me and thought i could bring a lot to the position, but with such a deep pool of applicants (over 40 for 1 spot!), they pretty much had the pick of the litter. plus, he told me i made it to the top 4. see? not completely bad news. and on the flip side, the timing would've been quite stressful since i'm scheduled to move next weekend...eek!
so it's back to the drawing board, so to speak. but, i do have packets to send out this week...i trust in God's plan so i'm going to do my best to patiently yet proactively wait for Him to reveal it in His timing.
another good thing? i finally bought a mouse for my iBook. the touchpad was getting..finicky. i have a wireless one somewhere..just not here. so i bought a little logitech corded optical mouse & basic mousepad from target (for under $20). now, i just have to get used to using a mouse again. :)
this week is devoted to job packets and starting the organizing/packing process. it'll be interrupted this weekend since i'm going home for my mom's birthday on friday..so i really only have 9 days to get ready! eek!
