Another great weekend. Brent came into town Saturday afternoon, and met me at the new Super Target @ Northlake, because I hadn't even made it around one side yet. He was sweet and carried my baskets. Among other things, I bought a queen inflatable mattress with a pump for $33 (without a pump, $26 and the pump was $20..so I made the smart choice obviously), because I think the futon is dying and my sister is coming this weekend.) Anyways, then we went back to my house so Bella could see her favorite person. Man! She loves on him like no one else!
We went to dinner at Red Rocks in Birkdale. Mmm...and got dessert to go. He got a piece of their famous 5-layer chocolate cake and I got a piece of their oreo cheesecake. Mmm....Then, we came back and watched the Miss America Pageant. Yes..I owe him big time! Too bad Amanda, Miss NC, didn't place in the Top 15..it would've made it more fun. Side note: In between dinner and the pageant, my ear (which had swelled again) decided to burst. Thank goodness it waited until we got home! Ick.
